Memorial Beads - pendants and tie tacks
I recently finished a couple of Memorial Bead pendants and I thought you might like to see them. These are made from polymer clay, dried flowers, and resin. I did the wire wrapping and kept it simple so the pendant would stand out.

And then I made some tie tacks.

I’ll be putting these pictures over on the Memorial Beads website, but I know not everyone goes over there, and I thought you might like to see them.
I’ve been making cabochons from dried flowers, oval ones like in the first photograph. I think they would be so pretty with seed beading around them.

Very nice…both the pendants and the tie tacks. Now I have to click on your link to find out what your memorial bead project is.

Hi Mel,
No, you can’t smell the dried flowers, unfortunately. Between the drying process and the baking, it seems the scent pretty much disappears. Darn.
That would be cool, huh?
Ronalyn, thank you so much! I hope you had a chance to read about the project and how it got started. It’s a special thing!
