Pink Rosebuds and Candy Corn!
I’ve made two new canes: rosebuds and candy corn. The raw canes are available for sale right now. The baked canes and packages of slices will be available tonight or tomorrow. I reduced some of the canes to 3mm and 5mm, so I could make samples of how these designs look as Fimo Nail Art.
First is the pink rose cane. I had talked about it on a polymer clay forum, and said that I liked it for the most part, with a just a couple of small changes I’d make on the next one. But overall I’m pretty pleased with it.
It made very pretty nails though, and I’m quite happy with it!
(The color is off in the top photo though. The rose is more pink, like in the nails.) I used that lovely little 3mm leaf with it.
Next was a nod to my friends who like to wear black nail polish: Candy Corn! I used black acrylic paint to give these artificial nails their base coat.

LOL Tess! Well my dear, that’s my vicarious way to enjoy them myself - by making the samples I get to enjoy them almost as much as if I were wearing them.
It also lets me be bold, because I do love the candy corn ones but I honestly don’t think I’d ever wear black nail polish!
