I’ve just completed an order for large hole, pandora/biagi/chamilia /troll style Memorial Beads. These beads have large holes for sliding necklace or bracelet chains through them (4 mm). I really love the green ones! They have rose leaves on them, which happen to be my favorite dried leaf to work with. I’m pretty excited about these new beads.
The darker pink ones have dark red dried roses on them; the yellow ones are dried calla lily, and the purple ones are a type of lily I didn’t qute recognize. But if you look close you can see some of the tiny veins still on the petals.

Oh, I forgot to say these were 14mm rounds!
Very interesting! I didn’t know that flower petals could be included in beads! They are beautiful!
wow those are great
Thanks, Julie! Yeah, flower petals and leaf petals, as long as they are not woody. I tried using a woody flower once, but it really just was too spiky even when ground very fine. Stasis is alot like that too, so I have to clip the little flower buds off the bead bases rather than pulling the petals off, because they bring their little woody roots with them.
KK, thanks for the compliment!
Beautiful! I love my pandora bracelets and these beads would certainly fit right in. Great colors and choices.
Thanks, Kristen! I haven’t had a Pandora style bracelet yet, but I have heard great things about them.
Wow, these are really pretty, love the Pandora-style. It’s amazing how much color you get from the flowers. I would have thought they would fade when baked. Did you use regular grommets pressed into round beads?
Hi Jennifer,
The beads in this photo have regular grommets, but I’ve since started using sterling silver ones.
Very inspiring! I like to play with polymer for fun and presents for people. My husband grows flowers, so I might try this. . .it will be like recycling. Do you push the grommets into the clay after you make the hole or push them in and glue them in? Or they bake in place? I’m just learning.
Thanks for the inspiration!
