Fall Market, Peoria River Front
The Riverfront Association continues it’s fabulous farmer’s market during the month of October.

Location: Water Street, between the River Station and Old Chicago Pizza.
Time: 10am - 2pm
Date: Every Saturday in October

Farmers, artists, musicians, and businesses from all over Central Illinois come to this famous market each week. You’ll find fall produce, pumpkins, flowers, and a variety of foods from local stores. Artistic booths range from potters to ironworkers to knitters.

My booth will be among the artist tents; I have a white canopy and white bifold doors, with a white table.

Peoria Art Guild Workshop:  Texture, Transfer, Millefiore, & Stone

Section I:  Thursday, October 16- Texture

Section II:  Thursday, October 23- Transfer

Section III:  Saturday, November 8:  Millefiore

Section IV:  Saturday, November 15 - Stone

Cost per section:  $30.00 for members / $35.00 for non-members, plus a $5.00 supply fee (all materials and supplies provided by instructor).

Each workshop in the series is 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Peoria Art Guild Studio School, Peoria IL

Description:  These workshops are open to all levels of experience and focus on technique rather than specific projects.  Section I explores 3-dimensional texture in solid clay.  Section II explores image transfers in liquid clay.  Section III explores millefiore.  and Section IV explores creating realisitic stone effects with a combination of solid clays, inclusions, and metallic foils.
