Hawaiian Tile Bracelet71 viewsThis is a bracelet using the Hawaiian Muu Muu style I started in 2004. The tiles and round spacers are polymer clay (tiles measure 1" across and 1/8" thick). The white spacer beads are Heishi shell.

cane37555 viewsThis is my favorite pansy, 2006. And yes I do know that the top petal shouldn't be there. It was a design flaw that I didn't catch until someone pointed it out to me. I love the curled petal edges on this. By the way, the streaking on the petal is actually from my blade. Amazing that my camera picked that up.

cane12823 viewsFishfish! This cane was designed by one of my sons in 2005. He and I worked on a couple of them, inspired by angelfish and clownfish. Mark still has a fascination with fish, and he keeps a good goldfish tank. Although all of his fish are named Bob.

hawaiian Muu Muu drop 291 viewsI really liked this pendant, and I wanted to explore the idea again; I did, with the faux bone experiments.

cane37461 viewsMy first calla lily cane, 2006. I do like this cane, and the design is a good one I think.

cane37828 viewsI really like this leaf, but I should have paid more attention to the veins.

Hawaiian Muu Muu Focal62 viewsThis piece combines my Hawaiian Muu Muu silhouette canes with a simple two-tile construction and black framing. I think it's 2004.

Barrette 954 viewsThis was the second experiment in making filigree barrettes. It wasn't a makeover; I'd done this one in white clay base and white clay for the filigree. I used Pearl-Ex's Duo Blue-Green and then Interference Purple with a soft sable brush to give the barrette it's turquoise color. After baking, I did a thin layer of Lisa Pavelka's Magic-Glos to give it that glazed ceramic look. Feb 12, 2008

Hawaiian Drop Necklace, close-up144 viewsI'd tried adding some sterling spacers to the pearl in the center, but that just made it too busy. So simply strung on a head pin was the answer. The blue spacers above it are made from scraps of the same blend as the pendant. Feb 11, 2008

Hawaiian Drop Necklace74 viewsI really like how this came out. I'd made the pendant first, without the pearl center in mind. But wanting to wear it, the pendant just didn't look right strung by itself on cord or chain. So I took the matching bracelet apart and stole the spacer beads from it. Then I strung the spacer beads, heishi shells, and freshwater pearls on sterling SoftFlex. Drilled a hole in the center for the pearl to dangle, and voila. I like this necklace alot. Feb 11, 2008

Filigree Barrette53 viewsThis barrette is a makeover. What's underneath the black filigree is slices of my leopard cane; and it really didn't look very good. I found I was avoiding wearing it. So I figured it was time to give the barrette an updated look. Now I love it! Feb 09, 2008
