This beautiful cabochon was handmade by C. A. Therien in the Faux Opal technique. Layers of translucent blue and green form different matrix patterns as the cabochon catches the light. Traces of opalescent fire play cat-and-mouse with the eye. The finish is glossy and highly reflective. This is a striking piece.
